Two English sisters are close but very different. Imogen has the sort of beauty that makes every head turn, Amanda is inconspicuous. Imogen has baby twins with Ben, MD, a generous gentleman. Then Imogen asks Amanda to lie for her, by not telling the truth, just play an answering machine message to make Ben believe the sisters are spending the weekend together when she's really cuckolding Ben with elder Cavan, an Irish-born antiques dealer and serial adulterer, thrice divorced with five children he never sees. At the last moment Amanda, who was told to leave her machine off by their dad Patrick, who always clearly favored Imogen and even announced to change his will in her favor, blurts out to Ben she didn't know Imogen was supposed to be with her- he ultimately comes over and finds out the truth, they end up making love and he prescribes her the morning after-pill and she leaves her own lover, measly but devoted builder Steve.

In a post apocalyptic world, a young man fights to return the perception of color back to a dying society, which has become overrun by Imogen, a color enhancing drug harvested from humans.

This show was filmed for the famous German TV series Rockpalast in MIDEM in Cannes on 29th January 1986. Pete Townshend's Deep End were touring in support of Townshend's solo concept album "White City: A Novel". Several of the musicians that appeared on the album were featured in the line-up of the Deep End including Pink Floyd's David Gilmour on lead guitar. The set list has tracks from the "White City" album, other Pete Townshend solo tracks, Who classics, David Gilmour's song "Blue Light" and a couple of surprises. Pete Townshend and the band deliver an outstanding performance that showcases him as a solo artist as distinct from his work with The Who.

Welcome to the year 372054! Astronaut Commander Shepard Headstrong sets out to be the first test subject in the Faceship initiative – a programme where a space vehicle is fashioned from the pilots own DNA.

In pursuit of the notorious thief “Subashiri no Kumagoro,” the Arson and Theft Investigation Squad corners him. Seizo, who has been actively working as their agent is killed by Kumagoro. Amidst the chaos, Kumagoro manages to escape from the squad. Four years later, Seizo’s widow, Onobu, is raising her young son, Yusomatsu, single-handedly while running a small tea shop. One day, she helps a traveling merchant named Shintaro, who collapses from a sudden illness in front of her shop. The two soon fall in love and promise to start a family together. Shintaro leaves on a business trip and promises to return in a few days. Right after his departure, Onobu is shocked to see a wanted poster delivered by the Arson and Theft Investigation Squad… Kumagoro’s face on the poster is the spitting image of Shintaro.
